Valentine Crafts

A few days ago we went over to the Timberlakes to make some valentine crafts for our friends.

We even had time to decorate cookies and eat them.
It was a fun break in our school day.

It was a great challenge trying to get all our 10 kids in this picture. As you can see...some were not too happy about wearing their costumes. Somehow Kurt escaped this photo!
What a blessing it is to have a wonderful family who also home schools and lives right in our neighborhood!

We love you guys!

It's snowing...AGAIN

The other night it was so pretty see all that snow coming down.
Brittian enjoyed a little "snow snack."

The kids enjoyed a little early valentine cupcake since we were snowed in. I made them all eat them outside since we had just cleaned the house. Cupcakes and kids are not the best mix when it comes to crumbles!

Snow never grows old!

Here are just few more pictures of Saturday's Snow day!

I think Annascott and Drew win the award for being the best snow bunnies! They both could go sledding all day long!

NOT AGAIN ANNASCOTT!

The other day Annascott got into the Aquaphor AGAIN!
The whole family was in the den this time. Annascott was actually right beside me! All of a sudden Evan just started hollering and pointing to Annascott. He could not get the words out fast enough. The kids immediately started laughing at her. You can tell she does not enjoy being laughed at by her expression. She was on the verge of tears...Poor girl!
After a quick picture she headed back to the tub for a hair washing with baking soda and dish detergent. Three days later and about 5 hair washings later she was back to normal!

Last night Annascott enjoyed exploring Kurt's clothes. She tried on about everything. Her favorite outfit was his surfing pj bottoms with dino underwear and then green athletic shorts on top. After trying on 5 of Kurt's t-shirts...she finally settled on his dino pj top.
Of course the boys REALLY enjoyed seeing her in boy clothes. Adah kept saying, "I don't want by sister to be dressed like a boy!"

Boy's Night Out!

A few nights ago the boys had some neighbor brothers over for a Star Wars Boy's night.
They came dressed in their PJ's with their Sleeping Bags.
Britt, with some help from Daddy, had prepared a delicious Star War's meal for the guests.
The boys were gracious enough to let Annascott join the feast.

For the main course they had Obi-Wan Kebabs!

For dessert they had R2-D2 treats!
Boy were they yummy!

After dinner they enjoyed eating popcorn and watching Clone Wars in their sleeping bags!
What a fun night! Thanks for coming over Edward and Charles!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Well, we finally got some snow!
The kids had been waiting all winter for this!
I thought I could keep Annascott inside with me...

However, that was not what she had in mind.

As soon as she stepped outside she jumping right in and started sledding.

Last hours of snow fun

Annascott got tired pretty quick but soon figured out a way to avoid walking up the hill each time.
Watch out....this one is coming to you from Drew!

Once again, Annascott is being pampered...
No wonder she likes the snow.
