Annascott... so full of life!

Annascott is our... mischief maker.
The other day right before church we realized she was MIA. So, after a quick search around the house...she came out the the bathroom looking like this! Lots of eucerin cream!
The kids could not stop laughing and calling her Santa Claus.

Fun in the tub!

Always so imaginative...

"Helw wo" And quiet a talker...such a girl!

Our latest addition...two years ago!

I don't think I had this blog two years ago. So...since we are getting close to celebrating Annascott's 2nd birthday...I felt like taking a trip down memory lane.

Happy Birthday Annascott!

What fun it was to celebrate Annascott turning 2!
Everyone loves Poppie!
Look at me...I'm the birthday girl!

Annascott and James in the kitchen.
You can tell she is a little unsure about sharing her special space.

Annascott loves dogs. She gets so excited every time she sees one.
So...I thought it would be appropriate to make her a "scottie" dog cake.

Birthday fun continued..

We started the festivities with some yummy food.
Annascott sure enjoyed the special treat of cheese puffs!
Uncle Ben is always found supervising the "boy" table.
Like they need supervising or something???

Annascott received so many fun toys. But, the toy that received the most laughs was by far the 360 jumping puppy that James and Ben David gave her.
It was the perfect gift!

Time for cake...

After all the presents were opened it was time for cake.
The best part of the night!
One, two...THREE!

Boy was it delicious!

Here is Annascott on her real birthday morning.
We decide to make pancakes for her since that is her favorite!

What a sweet little girl you are Annascott. You are growing up so fast!
You are so full of energy and excitement. There is never a dull moment with you!
You are so imaginative, creative and very bright! You show your love for everyone each day.
We could not imagine our family without you!
We love you so much!
May God bless you richly this year!

Happy Birthday Brittian

Somehow I failed to do a post on Brittian's 7th birthday this year.
So, I wanted to include some memories of his special day...even though it happened 3 months ago!
It was so much fun to have all our family there.
Annascott sure loves her Uncle Scott!
The theme of Brittian's party this year was Star Wars.
He received so many fun Star Wars Lego toys!

Thanks to Daddy he even enjoyed his favorite breakfast on his big day.
Yummy Swedish Pancakes!

Brittian, we love you so very much!
You are growing into quite a young man not only physically but also spiritually!
Your strength come out in so many ways. Athletically, as you dominate the field with power in your size and strength. In your leadership, as you vocalize your ideas and plans and encourage others to follow always seeking to do what it right. Acedemically, as you continue to impress me and others with your quest for knowledge and hunger to know more and more each day. Finally, and most importantly in your desire follow the Lord and walk in his ways each day.
We are so proud of you and can't wait to see what great plans the Lord has in store for you this year!

Fun night out with friends

A few weeks before Christmas we went out for dinner and then to the Billy Graham Library to see the lights with our friends the Judds.
Here are the kids...minus Kurt...we did not realize he was missing until later.

This is the house that that Billy Graham lived in as a child.
We all had a chance to ride in the horse and buggy carriage as we toured the lights.

What a fun night!
Thanks for hanging out with us Brian, Monica, and the kids!

My little Sweet and Sassy...into everything!

Lately, during our home school mornings, we will all notice that suddenly...Annascott is missing. Things are unusually quiet. We start calling her name...and then everyone splits up to hunt for her. First, we have learned to check all the bathrooms! She is known for getting out toilet bowl brushes and cleaning our potties for us. Meanwhile....stuffing them with unnecessary items. In fact, one day this led to an upstairs potty overflowing...covering the entire bathroom floor and closet with an inch or two of water. Then it proceeded to rain down into the kitchen. :) It was a very eventful school day!
However, this day she was not found in the bathrooms. We searched everywhere. Finally, I raced up to Adah's room...thinking she might be decorating her face hair once more with Aquaphor. Instead I found her quietly and contently resting in Adah's bed enjoying one of Adah's books. She had even gotten under the covers herself and turned on the reading light!

Of course, just moments later we discovering her shaking out ALL of the baby powder on her little "pup pup" convinced it had a "poo poo."

Pat...Pat...Pat
The whole area around her was smoke!

The other day Annascott discovered my acrylic paints. She walked into the kitchen looking like a little Indian with war paint. She had a yellow face and one eye half shut from the "eye shadow." Thankfully, Evan was home that day! We quickly removed her clothes and dumped her in the tub. There was so much action going on in that moment...I just did not have time to think about capturing a picture! However, I am sure she will give me another opportunity in the days to come.

Happy Birthday Kurt!

Kurt was very happy to turn 4 this year. He has already been practicing writing his number 4 as well as getting his fingers ready to show the big age!
He had been asking for a "2 wheel" scooter for his birthday. One just like his big brothers.
Boy was he excited when he opened it up!
"It has twoo weewls mommy!
What a big boy you are becoming!

Kurt requested a fighter jet cake for his birthday.
And we delivered...thanks to little help from HT. :)

Kurt, we are so proud of you! You are such a big brother to Annascott and a wonderful brother to Brittian, Drew, and Adah. I still remember the first time I saw you and how BIG those 2 dimples were on your cheeks. You bring so much joy to our family every time you smile.
May the Lord bless you this year as you grow in your walk with him. We are so excited to see your interest in Jesus grow each day!
