This year Evan and I actually enjoyed sitting in a beach chair and WATCHING the kids play in the ocean and in the sand. I think we have finally arrived to a new season in our family's life.

Sliding Rock...a chilly adventure!
In May our family was invited to join the FHG's (brother in law's company) weekend retreat to the mountains. On our way we stopped at sliding rock to cool ourselves off. At least the dad's and boys did! :)
Outdoor Fun!
The kids enjoyed the climbing wall at the retreat center. Adah was the only one to get all the way to the top! Way to go girl!
I even gave it a shot!
Adah must be the adventurous one in our family! She braved the zip line as well...and it was very high up!
Next, Evan tested out the swing! One time was enough for him!

New Tree Swing
A few weeks ago Evan put up a tree swing in the front yard. It has been a huge hit! The whole neighborhood has enjoyed it. The kids will come and line up for a swing and see who can touch the highest tree branch.
Now the kids are just waiting for their dad to build them another cool tree house!
