Family Beach Trip

A few weeks ago we went on our annual beach trip to Ocean Isle Beach with my parents, my sister and her family. Aside from the fright of Tropical Storm Hanna...we had a wonderful time! We actually discovered many sea treasures along the shore after the storm. Beautiful shells, starfish and a small octopus are only a few of the many items that were washed up on the beach. It was like experiencing an outside shell shop where all the shells were free. The kids had a wonderful time filling their plastic bags with huge conch shells!

Evan always keeps our trips adventurous. This year he rented a kayak. Adah, Brittian and Drew each enjoyed a trip out in the ocean with Daddy. I passed up my turn after I watched a big wave flip Evan and the boys out of the kayak!

Cousin James says, "open wide!"

Lot's of happy faces!

What a fun trip!

Can't wait to go again next year!

BEAUTIFUL! I think you can teach me a few things about blogging! Where did you find your beautiful back ground? I'm getting bored with mine and would like to explore something different - but I promise not to copy your same one (although I think it's awesome)! Way more beautiful is your family. Aren't we so incredibly blessed! Monica
