Family Fun in Charleston

The other weekend Evan had some work to do in Charleston. He invited us to join him...so we packed our bags and made the trip. We had beautiful weather. It was a small taste of summer fun. The kids played in the sand, rode the waves, and enjoyed lots of pool time. We also enjoyed visiting some special family friends while we were there.

This was Annascott's first real experience at the beach. Last year she had to enjoy it as a bystander. She was into everything! She loved the beach and had NO fear of the water. Watch out Adah, Brittian, Drew and Kurt...HERE I COME!

One night on the way home we stopped for some ice cream. The kids were all enjoying their treat when we realized Annascott was feeling quite left out. As soon as we handed her a cone...her eyes lit up! You can tell she enjoyed every last lick! We then learned that we would have to start serving dessert to 5 rather than 4 kids. She is growing up so fast. Before long we will have to order 5 kids meals!!!! Or perhaps just eat pizza at home!
