Every year I try to let the kids dye eggs for Easter. What starts out as a very exciting event always turns into a very stressful one as dye cups are knocked over, eggs are dropped and broken and "pretty rainbow color combinations" end up looking black. We started out with about 2 dozen eggs and ended up with maybe 10 colorful ones when it was all said and done. Thanks to Grammy and Grampy and their help...we were able to call it a success! It was a great memory and worth the fun...even though I forgot to get a picture of our beautiful eggs!
This Easter as we were flying out the door for church I realized I did not get any pictures of the kids in their attire. Disappointed and late for church, I convinced myself we would just take some when we got home. Well, 4 hours later we had a bunch of tired kids who were wearing half their lunch on their clothes. So...those pictures will be made up at a later date. However, here are some memories of the fun Easter egg hunts the kids enjoyed!
We rejoice in your resurrection!
"The enemy has been defeated. And death couldn't hold You down. We're gonna lift our voice in victory...we're gonna make Your praises loud! Shout unto God with a voice of triumph! Shout unto God with a voice of praise! Shout unto God with a voice of triumph! We lift Your Name up! We lift Your Name up!!
