BOYS.......

Am I the only one who has gone places only to find that when arriving at the destination...a child forgot to wear shoes!
I can't tell you how many times this has happened to our family.
Today, I took all 5 kids to the Super Walmart to get some needed items for a birthday party. I had my list ready and treats for the kids. I was prepared...or so I thought. As soon as I opened the door, Drew slowly explained that he forgot his shoes. "DREW!" I said...or maybe shouted! "Ok, well you will have to ride in the buggy and Adah will push Annascott in the umbrella stroller." We were all set to go when I noticed Brittian was still in the car. "Let's go Brittian!" I was getting a little impatient by this time. He creeps out and with a very scared and ashamed look on his face admits to me that he forgot his shoes too. This sent me over the edge. Well, we are not going home I thought and I am not pushing (and can't push him) him a buggy...so...
Then I saw right before my eyes a lovely pair of Adah's pink flip flops. I said, "Well, lucky for you. You can wear these." So, knowing my patience was wearing thin... he slipped on those cute flops and wore them throughout the entire Walmart adventure. If only you could have seen my 85 pound son wearing pink flip flops 2 sizes too small...with his foot hanging out the back. 
It was all I could do to keep from laughing...
