A "lost" tooth

I am proud to announce that Drew has officially lost his first tooth...in more ways than one.

A few weeks ago he was so proud to discover that he had a wiggly tooth. Finally, it was time to pull it out. That tooth was about to fall out! However, Drew would not let anyone touch it and did not want to see it bleed. So, his impatient big brother and sister, dying to help him out, had to sit back and wait until... the other day we all noticed it was MISSING! Poor Drew did not know where it was. Either it fell out or he swallowed it. It remains a mystery. The older kids could not BELIEVE he let this horrible thing happen. "What about the tooth fairy," they shouted! "He does not have anything to put under his pillow!"
So I suggested they write the tooth fairy a note explaining what had happened. With a little help from big brother Brittian. The job was done. I am happy to announce that the tooth fairy found the note acceptable and left the goods behind. The kids were thrilled to find out that there is grace with the tooth fairy!

a similar thing happened to Madeline once...she wrote a letter to her tooth fairy reading, "Dear Tooth Fairy, I lost my tooth but I lost my tooth." Funny!
