Happy Birthday Drew!

A few weeks ago we celebrated Drew's 5th birthday. The festivities started on Thursday...his real birthday!. We had cupcakes that afternoon and then later went with the whole family to the kids favorite Italian restaurant.

Kurt loves a chance to celebrate! He had already finished his cupcake by the time I got to him!

On Saturday we had the BIG family party! Drew decided he wanted a Batman party. So...here is our Drewman... A pretty cool guy!

Of course at every family get together we have a faithful food snatcher leftover man! Yes, you guessed it...sneaky James is on the prowl again! "Let me see...first stop...Ben David's leftovers. He never eats very much at theses parties anyway. Even if he sees me...he won't get to upset. It's that Kurt I have to watch. There is just something about him and his food!"

"Boy, I sure am thirsty...I guess I will have to finish off Kurt's lemonade. I better keep a close eye out for him. He will show no mercy!"

Time to open presents! Let's go HEELS!

Grammy and Grampy came to the rescue with a right handed glove! I'm so sad I did not get any pictures of the cool flying helicopter Poppie, Granmommie, Uncle Ben and Nonnie gave him. It surely was a big hit!

And now it is time for cake and ice cream!

Next, it was time for some outside fun! Drew shows us some tricks on his new skateboard ramp...with a little help!

Uncle Evan tried to let Ben David join in on the fun. BUT...that was not such a good idea. Thank goodness there were no major injuries after this adventure! He was a really good sport.

Annascott has to try everything too!

Well, Drew...it was so much fun celebrating your 5th birthday. You are so special to us and we love you very much! Jesus has blessed you in so many ways. We look forward to seeing you grow up into the young man he created you to be!
