Drew was so excited to get the playmobil airplane he had been eyeing at the store for months.
Kurt got his own hot wheel race ramp.
Brittian was excited to open the race car Hess truck.
Annascott was already enjoying her new play kitchen and pots and pans!
What a morning!
Each year as the kids grow older it becomes more fun!
I don't know who gets excited more...me or the kids. I can hardly wait to see them open the special things we pick out!
This year, we missed the deadline for Samaritans shoebox. I had originally thought the kids might draw names and pick each other out a gift. However, instead we decided to pick out a child from the angel tree at the mall. Kurt picked a little boy around his age. We had the kids pitch in their money and then we went shopping for little guy. Wish I could have seen him open his gifts as well!
Well, after all the presents we went in the kitchen to enjoy our traditional Swedish pancake breakfast with special raspberry cream sauce. While we ate we listened to the Christmas story amid several distractions and up and downs from the table.
Soon after breakfast it was time to head on over to Granmommies and Poppies.
