Growing Up

Today I was in the car with the boys and enjoyed overhearing another special conversation between Brittian and Drew.

Brittian-"What kind of car do you want when you get older? Don't you want a yellow one or something?"

Drew- "Uh...probably a truck. Like one of those with two seats in the front and two in the back. You know what I'm talking about?"

Brittian-"One that also has like a place in the back for mud?"

Drew-"Yeah, one of those. Those are pretty cool. That's what I want. You know...a truck."

-We stop and get gas and start driving home. On the way we pass by a pizza place.-

Brittian-"Hey Drew, when we are big boys we will probably meet for lunch... right?"

Drew- "Yeah, that's a good idea! Let's meet for lunch in our trucks. Ok Brittian? You and me in our trucks!"

Brittian- "Ok."

What a special thought that is...seeing the two of them as "big boys" meeting for lunch in their trucks! Thank you Lord for my boys. I pray they always share a close relationship!
